Reporting a problem

From the app. Report a problem asks what happened, and for your email if you'd like a reply. It adds your Mosaik and Windows versions and, if you leave it on, the end of Mosaik's log, with keys, tokens and your user folder's name taken out. Your chats are never included. You see exactly what will be sent, and nothing leaves your computer until you press Send. After an error, or if Mosaik closed unexpectedly, it offers the same report. Reports come to us, not to a public page.

On GitHub. A few details save a lot of back and forth:

• what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead;
• your version of Mosaik (Settings › About and updates) and of Windows;
• the model you were using, if it's about an answer;
• the last lines of Mosaik's log, if it showed an error. The log is mosaik.log, in %APPDATA%\Mosaik\Mosaik. It never holds your API key, but read it through before you post it anywhere public.
